Remedy is a five-piece band featuring the extensive use of the electric violin as a lead instrument.  Remedy's exciting show includes five lead vocalists female and male, guitar, bass, keys, sax, and drums.  Remedy can be scaled up or down depending on a venue's size and performance needs.  A horn section, a string section, and backup dancers and singers are available upon request.  Remedy can accommodate any type and size of stage show and audience.

Remedy delivers a fresh and exciting assortment of cover tunes for all ages including songs from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today.  Remedy is well-known for its musical variety and top-notch song selection.  Remedy has excellent stage presence and audience rapport, as well as mesmerizing visuals.  A Remedy show consists of three to four fully-interactive and exciting sets of music and dancing, featuring Remedy's four lead singers.  Remedy's show also has songs to dance to in-between sets that are pre-programmed for each event.   Audience members can expect to have a great time!

History

Started circa 1988 by guitarist Larry Braden, Remedy was a well-known cover band in the Detroit area for over ten years.  After a decade-long break and a career change, Remedy reappeared in the spring of 2006 as a musical project between violinist Karin Elizabeth (Braden) and Larry Braden.  Remedy started performing in the summer of 2008 with current drummer Billy DeAngelo.  In 2011, Remedy welcomed the addition of seasoned performers  Roger Noonan (bass and vocals) and Dave Cowie (Keyboard, Piano, Vocals).  In just four years, Remedy has created a stage show worthy of national recognition that includes a wide-ranging fan base of all ages.
