A former child prodigy on violin, Karin grew up surrounded by music. Karin studied opera and stringed instrument performance at Michigan State University, The University of Michigan and Wayne State University. Karin is an alumni of the Interlochen Center for the Arts. A former educator and orchestra director, Karin will haunt you with belty blues vocals and electrifying violin solos, skillfully crafting each wide-ranging musical genre that Remedy plays.
Billy DeAngelo: Drums, Vocals
One part rock and roll legend, and three parts pure rhythmic energy, drummer and vocalist Billy DeAngelo embodies the vintage rock cool that is smoking-hot with today’s crowd. His dynamic and professionally accurate style is perfect for any venue, whether rock, dance, acoustic or corporate. Formerly a founding member of the critically acclaimed local band ‘Government Honey,’ Billy has played with such acclaimed acts as Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, Robin Trower, Molly Hatchet, The Smithereens and Night Ranger.
Larry Braden: Lead Guitar, Vocals
An original founding member of Remedy in the 90’s a well-known cover band in the Detroit area for over ten years. Larry is a studious guitarist whose R&B, Detroit Rock, and Motown chops will make you feel every note down to the bone. Larry started playing guitar at age eight and began playing professionally at age fourteen. Larry has performed and recorded with several bands in the Detroit area for many years. Larry expertly re-creates the varied rock and dance sounds you love to hear.
Dave Cowie: Keyboards, Piano, Vocals
The passion for music has always burned bright in this Michigan native. A proud alum of Livonia's Creative and Performing Arts program who went on to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Dave has played with some of New England's top bands, and was invited to play at Super Bowl XXXVIII. Now back in the Detroit area full-time, his infectious energy and love of all things rock make him a must-see.
Roger Noonan has been holding down the bottom in Detroit for over 25 years, To mention a few------The Silver Bullet Band, The Teen Angels, Aretha Franklin, Bugs Beddow, The Reefermen, The Jerry Ross Band, Mel Ball, Colors and now with The Karin Elizabeth/Remedy Band.
